Modern and trendy - The Medienhafen (Media Tower)
The Media Harbour is a good example of a successful modern urban development with highly imaginative architecture. An ideal starting point for a tour around the Media Harbour is the 234m high Rhine Tower (Rheinturm), offering a breathtaking view over Düsseldorf.
Each year a great number of large events - that attract millions of people from far and near - take place in Düsseldorf. Some of these recurring events are: carnival, one of Europe's largest fairs, the Jazz rally, the Japan day with extraordinary fireworks and the impressive Christmas markets.

The shops are open from 10:00 until 20:00 (warning: there are no statutory opening hours). Most shops are open from 10:00 until 14:00 on Christmas Eve. On sundays and holidays the center of Düsseldorf is closed.

Opening hours: Tuesday until Friday from 10:00 until 18:00 and Saturday, Sunday and on holidays from 11:00 until 18:00. Visit the biggest art collection ofNorth Rhine Westphalia.

Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum
Kaiserswerther Str. 380 im Nordpark, 40474 Düsseldorf
At the Aquazoo you will find a natural science exhibition, aquarium, terrarium and insectarium.
The museum works together with different projects like nature- andspecies protection, animal geography, behavioral and reproductive biology.
Openining hours: Monday until Friday from 10:00 until 18:00 uur (with the exception of holidays).
The Düsseldorfer Goethe-Museum is located on the eastern edge of the courtyard garden in 1772 "Schloss Jägerhof".
Goethes life and work is since 1956 in the form of approximately 1000 exhibitions in chronological order showed. Opening hours: Tuesday until Friday and Sunday (with the exception of holidays) from 11:00 until 17:00 and Saturday from 13:00 until 17:00.

Roermond Shopping Center
The Shopping Center is approximately 45 minutes away from Düsseldorf.
Opening hours: every day (also on Sundays) 10:00 until 20:00.
Only on the 1st of January and on the 25st of December Outlet Center Roermond is closed.
Shopping in Heerlen
Shops are open from 9:30 until 18:00. Some shops are open on Thursday until 21:00.
